Aktive x One NZ
Volunteers are the heartbeat of sports and recreation across New Zealand, generously giving their time and energy to help thousands of clubs and groups, and the people within them, to thrive.
Aktive and One New Zealand have worked together to celebrate volunteers through the ‘Faces of Sport & Recreation in Auckland’ campaign, a two-part series profiling some of the many awesome volunteers who make sport and recreation possible.
Chapter & Verse supported this campaign over both phases (in 2022 and 2023), using storytelling to create compelling written content to highlight the journeys of a wide range of volunteers. The ‘faces’ campaign was recognised as a finalist in the commercial partnership category of the 2023 NZ Sport and Recreation Awards.
The Elephant x Red Astaire
Fredrik Lager. Red Astaire. Freddie Cruger. Whatever name you know the renowned Swedish beat maestro by, his catalogue of dancefloor fillers has made him a firm favourite of DJs and dancers alike.
Freddie sadly passed away in June 2022, leaving family, friends and fans to mourn the passing of a man described by many as a tremendous talent and person, in equal measures. But in what’s a fitting tribute to a lost friend, a previously unreleased Red Astaire remix saw the light of day through The Elephant, an independent record label with roots in Aotearoa and the UK.
Chapter & Verse worked with Vishal ‘DJ Vee’ Vasan of The Elephant to create and pitch a story of how a new vinyl musical release and a sudden passing link a previously defunct Kiwi record label, a famed Swedish producer and Wellington’s influential music scene of the 2000s.
Precision Driven Health
Precision Driven Health (PDH) was an award-winning partnership between Aotearoa New Zealand’s health information technology (IT) sector, health providers and universities that ran from 2016-2023.
PDH aimed to improve the health of New Zealanders and their whānau (families) through world-leading data science research in precision health. It promoted research projects in health data science with a goal to produce commercialisable insights to benefit the New Zealand health IT sector.
Chapter & Verse worked with PDH to create Better Health Through Data Science, a comprehensive partnership report which highlights the range of contributions that have resulted from bringing together high-performing people and organisations, and focusing on common goals.
